It is much cheaper than a taxi and will drop you directly at your hotel in Göreme, Uçhisar, or elsewhere. Allow for a 1-hour journey from Kayseri and 40 minutes from Nevşehir.

If you come in summer, visit popular sites like the Göreme Museum either very early in the morning (at opening at 8 AM) or in the late afternoon.

Dress Code and Rules of Conduct

Cappadocia is a fairly relaxed region. However, bring very comfortable walking shoes, as you will be walking a lot on uneven terrain. To visit the few mosques, remember to have a scarf to cover your head (for women) and clothes covering shoulders and knees.

Accessibility (Reduced Mobility, Strollers, Sensory)

What is crazy is the raw nature of the place, but this also makes it very difficult to access for people with reduced mobility. The paths are steep, the underground cities are narrow, and the cave hotels often have many stairs. Unfortunately, this is not a destination I recommend for wheelchair users. For strollers, it is also very complicated.
