This is a weak point, to be honest. Access to the island is by boat, and the tower itself is a historic structure with narrow stairs. It is therefore difficult for people with reduced mobility (PRM) and strollers to access. There is no elevator. The visit is not recommended if you have difficulty moving around.

Successful restoration: The indoor museum is very well done, modern, and informative. You learn a lot about the multiple lives of the tower.

The “Cons” 👎

The price a bit high: The combined fare (boat + museum) is a bit expensive for a fairly short visit. Local solution: If your budget is tight, admiring it from the coast of Üsküdar at sunset is an equally magical and… free experience!
Inaccessibility: The lack of access for PRM and strollers is a real downside. Alternative: Enjoy the view from the cafes on the Salacak promenade, which are perfectly accessible.
